Urad dal or uddina bele chutney

Uddina bele chutney or urad dal chutney recipe explained with step by step pictures. Uddina bele chutney or urad dal chutney is prepared using urad dal, coconut, red chili, curry leaves, tamarind and salt. Uddina bele chutney or urad dal chutney is a very tasty chutney goes very well with dosa or idli.

You can serve this chutney with dose or idli or rice roti. But I personally prefer this chutney with unde kadubu or pundi gatti. You can serve this chutney with hot steaming rice too.

I learnt this chutney recipe from my mother. Roasting urad dal until golden brown under low-medium flame is very important to prepare tasty chutney. So take care not to burn it.
