Tiffin sambar recipe varies from region to region and hotel to hotel. This sambar recipe is from a popular hotel and my Mother-in-law got it for me. So sweet of her right? She has tasted and taken recipe from few restaurants, which she felt is tasty. And then she tried at home and finalized with this sambar recipe. I prepared it and we all liked the taste. So now you have to try and give me the feedback.
This sambar makes use of Mangalore style sambar powder. But if you do not have sambar powder at home, then I have given the ingredients for one time sambar powder. So just roast all the ingredients under medium flame and prepare home made sambar powder. And then prepare the sambar.
