hesaru bele saaru or mung dal rasam

Hesaru bele saaru or mung dal rasam recipe explained with step by step pictures. Hesaru bele saaru or mung dal rasam is prepared using green gram dal, coconut, green chili and lemon. Hesarubele saru or mung dal rasam is very tasty, healthy and goes very well with rice.

This Malnad style hesaru bele saaru or mung dal rasam is sour, a bit spicy, filled lemon flavour and a very good appetizer. Especially when you are down with cold and fever...this rasam is very soothing and comforting. I have few more recipes using green gram like green gram salad (hesaru bele kosambari), green gram dal payasa (hesaru bele payasa), green gram curry and green gram sprouts salad.

There is another upgraded version of this hesarubele saaru or mung dal rasam, which has tomato in it. Popular by name "bili saaru (white rasam), a very tasty rasam, which I will share with you all soon.
