Saat or badusha is prepared using maida or all purpose flour, ghee and sugar. Saat or badusha are deep fried pattis, which are then dipped in sugar syrup. These are light and crispy from inside.
This saat sweet recipe is very popular in Mangalore region of Karnataka. This sweet is also prepared in other parts of Karnataka and is familiar by name badusha. The ingredients for saat or badusha are similar to badam puri recipe, which I have posted earlier.
