capsicum rice recipe, capsicum bath

Capsicum rice recipe or capsicum bath recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Capsicum rice or capsicum bath is a very tasty rice recipe prepared using green capsicum, tamarind, jaggery, coconut and vangibath powder or palyada pudi. Capsicum rice or capsicum bath is a very tasty breakfast or lunch box recipe.

Preparing capsicum rice or capsicum bath is very easy if you have vangibath powder at home. If you don't have the vangibath powder..then roast the ingredients listed under "for masala powder" under medium flame and then powder it. Or refer my vangibath powder or palyada pudi recipe post for detailed instructions.

In Karnataka, especially in Bengaluru-Mysuru region, vangibath powder is familiar by name "palyada pudi" or "bathina pudi". Palyada pudi translates to curry or stir fry powder and bathina pudi translates to rice bath powder in Kannada language.

I have 2 more capsicum recipes on this website. They are capsicum menaskai and radish-capsicum sasive recipes.
