Menthe thambli or menthya thambuli prepared using raw soaked fenugreek seeds, curd, coconut. This methi seeds raita is very good and very simple recipe. Menthe hasi thambli or tambli helps to reduce the body heat. This tambli or raita is a very good recipe for piles or constipation. If you remember I have posted one menthe idli and one menthe rasam recipe prepared using fenugreek seeds. These two are very tasty and healthy recipes using fenugreek seeds.
Menthe or fenugreek seeds thambli or raita is not bitter but it is a bit slimy. But it is very helpful in treating constipation, piles, mouth ulcer etc., It is also a diabetic friendly recipe. This methi seeds raita can be served as a gravy for rice or can be served as a beverage. It provides cooling soothing effect to the body. There is another type of menthe or menthya thambli, in which we will fry the methi seeds. I will share that recipe also soon.
