Brahmi thambuli recipe

Brahmi thambli or thimare thambli or ondelaga thambli recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Thimare or ondelaga thambli is a curd based side dish and is prepared using brahmi leaves, coconut and curd. Thambuli is an easy gravy recipe prepared using curd and is served as a first course in a multi course meal. And this Brahmi thambuli (tambli) or raita is much more simpler since there is no frying or cooking involved. Raw Brahmi or thimare or ondelaga leaves are ground with coconut, mixed with curd and tempered.

Thambuli or thambli or tambli is prepared using coconut and curd (plain yoghurt). We can call it as raita or flvored yoghurt and is generally served along with rice.

I have already posted brahmi chutney recipe and this is my second recipe using brahmi leaves. If you are looking for more thambuli or tambli recipes then do check my doddapathre thambuli, Doddapathre hasi thambuli or raita, Ginger thambuli, hibiscus tambli or raita and radish raita recipes.

I have made a video on this thambli recipe with Kannada narration, which I have embedded it below. Kindly have a look.
