Batani gasi recipe

Batani gasi recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. This is a Udupi style batani ghasi or green peas curry recipe. This batani ghasi tastes good with chapathi or poori or rotti. Batani gasi is prepared using dried green peas, potato, coconut and spices.

This is a very tasty and simple curry recipe. Onion - garlic are very minimum in Udupi cuisine. I have not used onion-garlic in this recipe. However you can add little ginger and little garlic while grinding if you like the curry that way. Or you can include few crushed garlic while tempering the gasi.
