Kara sev or thin sev recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. This thin kara sev or omapodi is prepared using gram flour and few other spices. Kara sev is familiar by names like plain sev, thin sev, oma podi, ompudi, seme etc.
As I said in my thick kara sev or kara kaddi post, these sevs can be prepared in very less time using very minimum ingredients. So when there is a sudden guest at home or if you want something to munch on along with your cup of tea, then this is a perfect recipe to remember. This recipe is from my mother. She used to prepare this often when I was a kid. This is a very tasty and crispy sev recipe. So do not forget to try this easy and tasty recipe. I have also made a video on this recipe, which I have embedded it below. Kindly have a look.
