Onion dosa or onion uttappam recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Onion dosa or onion uttappam are prepared using set dosa batter. Regular set dosa is topped with chopped onions, green chili and coriander leaves to prepare tasty eerulli dose or onion uthappam.
In Karnataka these uthappams are generally familiar by name onion dosa or eerulli dose. You can prepare these dosas or uthappams using regular dosa batter. But I prefer set dosa batter, which I have already posted. If you use set dosa batter then you can prepare real thick onion dosas. Also dosas will be very soft and tasty.
Onion dosa or uthappams are perfect for kids lunch boxes as compared to plain dosas. You can serve these onion dosa or uttappams either with coconut chutney or mixed vegetable saagu. Or you can even enjoy without any accompaniment.
