Potato palya for davangere benne dosa

This simple and spicy coconut chuteny is served as an accopmaniment with popular davangere benne dosa. This coconut chutney is very spicy in taste and is served with potato palya. For this chutney only coconut and green chilis are used. This coconut chutney recipe has been posted along with the very popular davangere benne dosa. This is a very simple chutney prepared using green chilis and coconut. Even tempering is not done to this spicy coconut chutney.

Coconut chuteny for davangere benne dosa

Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 5 min
Serves: 4

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 1 cup fresh grated coconut
  2. 4 - 6 green chili
  3. 1 small marble sized tamarind (optional)
  4. Salt as per your taste.

Instructions for making coconut chuteny for davangere benne dosa:

  1. Grind grated coconut, green chilis and tamarind. Use required water and grind until smooth.grinding coconut chutney for davangere benne dosa
