Masala tea masala chai recipe

Today I am here with a quick recipe, which is a perfect for your weekend. I prepare this tasty Masala tea or Masala chai on weekends and I really enjoy it. This Masala tea or spiced tea prepared using dry ginger, pepper, clove, cardamom and cinnamon. The recipe explained here with step by step pictures. You can vary the milk and water ratio as per your taste.

Masala tea or spiced tea recipe

Preparation time: 5 min
Cooking time: 10 min
Serves: 2

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 150ml)

  1. 1.5 cups milk
  2. 0.5 cup water
  3. 4 cloves
  4. 1-2 black pepper
  5. A small chunk of dried ginger
  6. One cardamom
  7. Half finger length cinnamon

Instruction for making Masala tea or spiced tea:

  2. Take crushed masala and 1/2 cup of water in a vessel and boil it for 2 minutes.boiling masala for masala tea
  3. Add milk, tea powder and sugar. Bring to boil and switch off the stove. Sieve it and serve cucumber for sambar
