Southe gatti or cucumber steamed dumplings recipe explained with step by step pictures. Southe gatti is prepared using rice, coconut and finely choped or grated cucumber. Southe gatti is nothing but steamed rice and cucumber dumplings. These are generally steamed in banana leaves. This is a no fermentation and instant breakfast recipe.
This recipe is very popular in Mangalore - Udupi region of Karnataka.
