Boiled peanut chat recipe explained with step by step picture and a video. Boiled peanut chat or beyisida shenga chat is an easy and healthy snacks recipe. Shenga chat is also called as kadlekai chat or nelagadale chat. This is a very simple and quick chat recipe.
Boiled peanut chat recipe is a street food. You can find people selling this near beach or many other tourist spots. You can use roasted peanuts as well. You can find the roasted peanuts chat recipe here. I have not soaked the peanuts or shenga here. And hence I made nearly 6 whistles to cook the peanuts until soft. However you can reduce the cooking time by soaking the shenga or kadlekai for 2 - 3 hours.
This is a very tasty chat or evening snacks recipe. You can get creative and change it as per your taste. Like you can add chopped cucumber or grated coconut or grated radish etc.,
If you are looking for more chat or street food recipes then check my Mangalore churumuri recipe, girmit recipe, nargis mandakki recipe, sukha girmit recipe. And you can find more snacks recipes under my Snacks section.
