Potato palya for davangere benne dosa

This unique potato palya or potato filling is served as an accopmaniment with popular davangere benne dosa. This potato palya is having mild taste and is prepared using mashed potatoes. Apart from this onion and green chilli are the only two ingredients used in this potato palya. This potato palya has been posted along with the very popular davangere benne dosa.

Potato palya for davangere benne dosa

Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 5 min
Serves: 4

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 2 potatoes
  2. 1 onion
  3. 1 - 2 green chili
  4. 4 - 5 curry leaves
  5. 4 tsp cooking oil
  6. Salt as per your taste.

Instructions for making Potato palya for davangere benne dosa:

  1. Wash, cook and peel the potatoes.cook potato for palya for davangere benne dosa
  2. In a frying pan, heat the cooking oil and fry slit green chili, curry leaves and onion.green chili and onion for palya for davangere benne dosa
  3. Add in mashed potatoes, salt and mix well.potato palya for davangere benne dosa
