Wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy or haalina candy recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Wheat flour milk ice candy or haalina ice candy are tasty, healthy and kids friendly recipe. This milk candy or milk kulfi is very easy to prepare with very minimum ingredients. Try this refreshing and tasty haalina ice candy during hot summer days.

My son loves icecream, ice candy, kulfi, milkshake, juice...and everything that is sweet and ice. I keep trying different recipes. This wheat flour milk candy came out so well and hence sharing the recipe with you all. I mostly prepare Mango and milk kulfi or candy during mango season, which is his favourite.

I have used just 3 ingredients in this milk candy. I have added little cream from the boiled milk. More the cream you add, more soft and melthing the candies or kulfis will be. You can even add store bought cream if you wish. However adding cream is optional.

These milk kulfi or candy are prepared using milk, wheat flour and sugar. They turn out really well. We used to have this type of candy during our childhood. We used call it by different names like haal ice, haalina ice candy and doodh candy. I have filed this recipe under kids friendly recipes.

Wheat flour milk candy recipe

Preparation time: 20 min
Freezing time: 4 - 5 hrs
Serves: 4

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 2.5 cups milk
  2. 2 tbsp wheat flour
  3. 1/4 cup sugar (as per your taste)
  4. Popsicle mould or small cups

Instructions for making wheat flour milk kulfi:

  1. Boil the milk. milk for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  2. Collect the cream from the boiled milk. We will be using this cream later. Cream gives soft texture to candy or kulfi. Please note, collecting and using the cream is optional.milk cream for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  3. Take 1/2 cup of boiled milk in a bowl and mix in 2 tbsp of wheat flour.sugar for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  4. Boil 1 cup of milk in a pan.boiling milk for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  5. Add in sugar.sugar for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  6. Also add in wheat flour mixed milk.wheat flour mixed milk for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  7. Continue boiling for 5 minutes at low flame by stirring frequently. Swich off the stove.boiling milk and sugar for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  8. Add one more cup of milk and wait until cool.milk for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  9. Once cool, transfer it into a mixie jar. Add in collected cream. Cream makes the kulfi soft, however adding cream is optional. You can add store bought cream as well.pour blended milk into moulds for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  10. Blend everything together well for a while and pour it into the moulds.blended milk in mould for wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  11. Close the lid and freeze it for a minimum duration of 4 - 5 hours.freezing wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
  12. After freezing either hold it under tap water or immerse in a container filled with water for few seconds. Take them out and enjoy.taking out wheat flour milk kulfi or doodh ice candy
