Kadle bele or kadale bele usli recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Kadale bele usli or Chana dal sundal or usli is a very tasty and healthy snacks recipe that can be prepared in very less time. This is a no-onion usli or chana dal palya and is very easy to prepare. You can serve this along with a cup of masala tea.
I have not soaked the kadle bele or chana dal in this recipe. However you can soak the dal for 2 - 3 hours to reduce the cooking time. After soaking you make only one whistle or just cook it using open pot method.
In Karnataka, if salad is prepared using raw soaked dal or lentils then it is called as kosambari. And if salad is prepared using cooked dal or lentils then it is called as usli.
