Menthe hittu or menthya powder recipe explained with step by step pictures and video. Menthe hittu or menthya powder is a most flavorful, very tasty and healthy recipe. Menthe hittu is prepared using gram dal, urad dal, moong dal, toor dal, wheat, rice, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, methi seeds and turmeric. Menthe hittu is a traditional recipe from Karnataka.

Menthe hittu or menthya pudi is a very healthy recipe. I have added cumin seeds in this recipe, which you can replace it with 1/4 tsp asafoetida. Also I have not added any chillies here. If you wish you can add few red chillies or 1/2 tsp black pepper.
