Batani usli or green peas sundal recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Batani usli or sundal is a tasty and healthy snacks prepared using green peas, ginger, coconut and coriander leaves. This is a no-onion usli and is a healthy protien rich recipe. You can serve this along with a cup of masala tea.
Green peas is filled with protien. You can serve this for breakfast or as an evening snacks.. I love the taste of green peas and you can find many green peas recipes on this website like green peas pulao, batani gasi, masala puri chat, green peas paratha etc.,
I feel batani usli or green peas sundal is the tastiest usli. However since it is a protien rich snacks, eat in moderation to avoid digestive issues..
In Karnataka, if salad is prepared using raw soaked dal or lentils then it is called as kosambari. And if salad is prepared usind cooked dal or lentils then it is called as usli. I have posted three more usli or sundal recipes like hesarukalu usli or sundal, maland style kadle usli or sundal, sour and spicy kadle usli or sundal and avarekalu usli or sundal. All these are very tasty and healthy. Do try them and enjoy!
