Sabbasige or sabsige soppu bonda recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. This dill leaves pakoda is a tasty evening snacks, and is prepared using gram flour (besan), rice flour, onion, leaves, chillies, ginger, ajwain and salt. Sabbasige soppina bajji or bonda is a deep fried fritters.

Sabsige soppu bonda recipe

Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Serves: 4

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 1 cup sabsige soppu or dill leaves
  2. 1 cup gram flour or besan
  3. 1/4 cup rice flour
  4. 1 onion
  5. 7 - 8 curry leaves
  6. Few coriander leaves
  7. Few mint leaves
  8. 2 green chillies
  9. 1 tsp ginger
  10. 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  11. Big pinch cooking soda
  12. Salt as per your taste
  13. Oil for deep frying

Instructions for making sabsige soppu bonda:

  1. Chop the onion and take it in a bowl.onion for sabsige bonda recipe or sabbasige soppu bajji pakoda
  2. Add finely chopped ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves and green chillies.curry leaves, ginger, green chilli and coriander leaves for sabsige bonda recipe or sabbasige soppu bajji pakoda

  5. Add in salt.salt for sabsige bonda recipe or sabbasige soppu bajji pakoda
  6. Add carom seeds or ajwain. Rub and mix everything together well.ajwain for sabsige bonda recipe or sabbasige soppu bajji pakoda
  7. Add chopped coriander leaves.coriander leaves for sabsige bonda recipe or sabbasige soppu bajji pakoda
  8. Prepare a sticky dough by adding required water.mixing flour for sabsige bonda recipe or sabbasige soppu bajji pakoda
