This is a breakfast smoothies prepared using ragi flour, banana, soaked badam, dates, flax seeds, chia seeds and cinnamon powder. Ragi smoothie is a healthy, tasty and easy to prepare recipe. This is good for digestion, weight loss, heart health, etc.,

This ragi smoothie has no added sugar like sugar or jaggery. I have used 4 dates, which you can adjust as per your taste. I have also used a big pinch of cinnamon powder, which is optional and you can skip it.

Badam or almonds are rich in valuable nutrients. But if you don't have almonds, you can replace it with milk. I have posted a video on the health benefits of almonds, kindly have a look. You can also find few almond recipes on this website like badam milk powder, badam halwa and badam burfi.

Ragi smoothie recipe

Preparation time: 45 mins
Cooking time: 10 min
Serves: 2

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 2 tbsp ragi flour
  2. 1 large banana
  3. 8 - 10 almonds or badam
  4. 4 dates (adjust as per taste)
  5. 1 tbsp flax seeds
  6. 1 tbsp chia seeds
  7. Big pinch of cinnamon powder
  8. 1.5 cups water

Instructions for making ragi smoothie:

  1. Soak almonds in a bowl. Use hot water to reduce the soaking time. After soaking peel them.alomnds for ragi smoothie recipe

  6. Add the deseeded dates. I have used soft dates. If you are using hard dates, soak them until soft.dates for ragi smoothie recipe
