Haalu menasina saaru or milk pepper rasam recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. Haalu menasina saru is a very easy, tasty and simple rasam recipe prepared using milk, black pepper, urad dal, cumin seeds, dry coconut and a simple tempering. Halu saru or milk rasam is a no dal, no tomato and no rasam powder rasam or saaru recipe.
Haalu menasina saaru is a perfect rasam recipe we are suffering from cough or cold. Adjust the black pepper quantity as per your spice level. One important point to remember is, not to boil the saru or rasam after adding the milk. Just heat it for few minutes and switch off the stove.
This saru or rasam can either be served with rice or sip it like a soup. Adjust the salt accordingly.
