A simple cucumber pachadi recipe also explained. This is a very comforting recipe for the summer as it makes the body cool.

Ganji is a very soothing and comforting recipe. You can have it for breakfast or lunch or dinner. I have served it with Mango pickle, however you can serve it with any pickle of your choice. You can find one more boiled rice ganji recipe on this website.

Jeerige ganji recipe

Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 5 min
Serves: 2

Ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)

  1. 1/2 cup rice
  2. 1/2 cup coconut
  3. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  4. 1/4 tsp salt
  5. 1 tsp ghee (for serving)
  6. pickle (for serving)

Ingredients for cucumber pachadi:

  1. 1/2 cucumber
  2. 1/2 tsp ginger
  3. 1/2 tsp green chili
  4. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  5. 3/4 tsp salt or as per your taste

Instructions for making jeerige ganji:

  1. Rinse 1/2 cup rice.rice for jeerige ganji recipe
  2. Add 4 times water and cook until soft.water for jeerige ganji recipe
  3. Mash the rice slightly.cooked rice for jeerige ganji recipe
  4. Grind coconut and cumin seeds by adding required water.grinding coconut and cumin seeds for jeerige ganji recipe
