Dideer bele saaru or dal rasam recipe explained with step by step pictures and a video. This is a very easy and very tasty rasam or saaru. This bele saaru is prepared using toor dal, tomato, green chilli, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, salt, mustard and curry leaves. Bele saaru or dal rasam is very tasty, healthy and goes very well with rice.
This is a perfect saru or rasam recipe when you are not having rasam powder (saarina pudi) and you don't want to grind anything. Kids will enjoy this simple yet tasty rasam. I have used crushed garlic for tempering, which you can replace it with asafoetida.
